DANCALI

Dan Cali is an Australian industrial designer and photographer. His works explore the relationship between automotive design, the environment, advertising and car culture that flourished in the 1960s and 1970s and span a variety of media. He works as a Designer and has been featured several times in Petrolicious (October 1, 2015 - September 2, 2015 - August 26, 2015 - August 4, 2015), Opumo (October 7, 2016) and Coeval Magazine (April 18, 2016).

Dan Cali was a car designer for many major car companies - including Land Rover, Ford, Holden and Toyota. Australia is now facing a declining car design industry so Dan now spends his work time enthusiastically designing homes and buildings. His love of car design still continues unabridged. He’s inspired by mid-century, the rocket-age, sales literature, and combines these to create his art.

Each image created has been painstakingly photographed, airbrushed and perfected, and placed in its complementary habitat - presenting each car to the audience in its most perfect form.
